Things to do and see

Zell am See Lake is a paradise for water sport enthusiasts. The cliffs around the lake are excellent for rock climbing, whilst serious cyclists should head straight to the Tauern Bike Path. Those who make it all the way to Salzburg will pass through breathtaking mountain terrain and lovely villages and towns. The variety of terrain means hikers have a huge choice of trails to follow, from easy to challenging. Take a day off from all the sporting activities and treat the kids to the Ferleiten Animal Park or explore Salzburg’s magnificent Old Town.

Restaurant & Shopping

Restaurant, bar and shopping

The charming Woferlgut Restaurant serves hearty Austrian dishes. There is a bar and a grocery, which caters to all your luxury camping necessities.

Swimming

In the summer of 2018 an entirely new indoor swimming pool complex with fitness opened. Access to the pools is at an extra cost. For the little ones there is a separate shallow children's pool with fun games.

You can choose from 2 options: if you want to use the swimming pool and the gym every day, you pay a price per stay: € 6 per day per adult and € 3 per day per child under 11 years. You will also get a bracelet (€ 20 deposit + digital picture on the spot). For a day ticket (max 3 hours) you pay € 18 per adult and € 9 per child. In the wellness center you can relax in the Turkish steam bath or cold water basin in combination with a visit to the sauna. There is a surcharge for this.

The site also boasts its own private lake where guests can splash around and make their way to the adventure station that is set in the middle of the lake or simply soak up the sun on the lawn.
